Games are a wonderful way to offer children educational opportunities in a way that they can become engaged in and excited about. Often games will provide extended opportunities for children to practice their skills as they will spend a long time playing a game because they are having fun! Social outcomes for children when they play games include self regulation, turn taking, being part of a group, understanding and playing by the rules that govern the game.
